Filmfare Award Winner Pathik Vats was born in Patauda. This Haryanvi village kindled in him the love for nature. Though circumstances forced his family to leave Patauda, he still misses that vastness and the freedom of sailing with the wind.
Graduated from Ramjas College, University of Delhi, it was a place that shaped him in every sense- politically, culturally and socially. Participating and winning awards in drama, poetry, debate, radio and television not only earned him pocket money but they ignited in him a burning passion to become a filmmaker. Driven by his desire to see his poetry on celluloid, his sheer grit and effortsbrought him to Mumbai with seven hundred rupees and a pocket full of dreams. |
